Trying to convince a middle schooler to listen to you can be frustrating - they begin to pull away, they don’t want to be seen with you, and oftentimes all they want to do is be with their friends or locked away in their room.
And high school is just around the corner and it can be scary for us and you know you need to be having the important conversations to prepare them and keep them safe but how when they don’t want to talk to you and when you’ve tried and it doesn’t go so well?
